Juan Soto Serrano

Biography
Honorary President of Hewlett Packard Spain (2000-2002), Juan Soto is one of the most significant figures in the Spanish technology sector.
Doctor of Telecommunications Engineering and recipient of the National University Prize, Soto also holds an MA in Operations Research from Madrid’s Universidad Complutense. He was also a Fulbright scholarship holder at Stanford University, California, where he completed an MSc in Electrical Engineering. Soto additionally graduated in Top Management from the INSEAD Business School, (Fontainebleau).
At HP from 1966 until 2002, he was responsible for diverse markets from the outset, becoming Managing Director for Spain in 1971.
Juan Soto has received a great number of awards throughout his career, including the Gran Cruz al Mérito Civil. He is currently member of the Advisory Board of several companies and organizations, including Secuware, Software AG and the Instituto de Empresa Business School.

An Agricultural Graduate from the Madrid Agricultural School (ETSIA) in 1965, and a Graduate in IT (1971) Jacobo Israel has been CEO of Sema Group sae (1988-2001), President for Spain and Latin America with SchlumbergerSema (2001- 2002) and Honorary President of SchlumbergerSema Spain (2002-2003).
He is currently CEO of Siconet Ingenieros S.A. and European Merger & Acquisition Services Iberia S.A, as well as being a member of Secuware’s Advisory Board.
A founding member of Raices (a Jewish cultural magazine) in 1986, he has been editor of the publication since 1994. Jacabo Israel has also been President of the Jewish Community of Madrid since December 2001, as well as President of the Federation of Israelite Communities of Spain.

Biography
Juan Francisco Arenas is a Doctor in Economic and Commercial Sciences from Madrid University (1965), and a Graduate in European Community Studies from the Madrid Diplomatic School (1978).
A civil servant through competitive exam, Francisco Arenas’ professional career has taken him through positions in the Ministries of Industry, Finance and Defense, where he undertook roles with high levels of responsibility. In 1991 he was named General Director for Arms and Materials within the Ministry of Defense.
Member and President of the advisory boards of various public companies, he is also the co-author of books on Economic Policy and a collaborator for various magazines and other publications. Awarded the Gran Cruz de la Orden del Mérito Militar, he also belongs to the French Legion of Honor.
Félix Delgado

Biography
Founding partner of Ernst & Young, Felix Delgado has been closely linked to the information technology sector throughout his career. His professional activity focuses on consultancy services to various companies in the areas of strategy and technology.
In 2003 he was an external consultant to the start-up of Ernst & Young’s new Advisory Services division, defining the strategy, tender and quotes, as well as implementing the necessary processes for future management of the division.
In this respect he was responsible for launching Ernst & Young’s activity within the Public Sector. Felix Delgado is currently a member of Secuware’s Advisory Board, ENTEL and the Möbius CVC Investment Committee.
Carlos F. Esteban

Biography
Carlos Fernández Esteban has worked in the IT sector for over 30 years, holding various roles of responsibility in technical, marketing and research and development areas.
He has spent periods of residence in both the USA and Italy. Working for Sperry Univac, and then Unisys, he held various positions of responsibility in different sectors of the market. His last role at Unisys was as General Director for Marketing, and he previously managed the European Center for Artificial Intelligence.
Since October 1994 he has been running his own company, CAYD Consultores, dedicated to top management consulting in the areas of planning, marketing, and the application of information technology to business processes.
